PlanSeven is a packaged solution to enable configurable point-to-point integration between EPM Applications and your back-end ERP, transactional and Data Warehouse applications, such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, GEAC and SAP. Just as any good integration solution has two components, PlanSeven does too – Master Data and Data. Master Data or Reference Data or your Charts, give reference to Data, without which, you would have missing data or ‘fallouts’ or ‘errors’ in the integration. We liken Master Data to an address on an envelope, and Data as the contents of the envelope. The same way that, if the address on the letter is not correct, the letter can never be delivered; your data will never get to the right place if your Master Data is not correct.
The Master-data solution of PlanSeven is a fully configurable solution targeted at the functional business users of Hyperion applications. The system is easy to configure and use, and requires no complex coding or SQLs to be written by the users. For example, with PlanSeven you will find it easy to build and test different Dimensions before deciding on your Application Dimensionality. Without PlanSeven, users will have the burden of visualizing the dimensionality without having an opportunity to actually see how the PeopleSoft ChartFields or SAP Chart of Account get transformed into dimensions in Hyperion Planning, or your custom Essbase Applications.
The data solution of PlanSeven is a sophisticated out-of the box solution which ensures that Hyperion Applications get clean Inbound data by filtering through a user defined data sanitization process. The Outbound data going from Hyperion Applications to your back-end ERP Applications is validated before loading, thus ensuring that the data is always clean and conforms to the organizational norms. In all, the solution is geared toward maintaining data-integrity and data conformance.

The group boasts of high quality individuals who have been through multiple software implementations and follow standard implementation methodologies.
Implementation
The philosophy of the implementation team is to understand how you work, and translate that into PlanSeven implementation. To that effect, our implementation organization boasts of a mix of professionals with backgrounds in finance and information technology. The team will work collaboratively with the Finance organization to understand your business needs, and with the IT organization to work on infrastructure and technology issues. Typically, install and implementation is expected to get completed in matter of weeks. Also, the intuitive interface requires training time measured in hours, hence you are independent from day-one.
