Social Initiatives come in many shapes and forms. Ours come with an IT Hat!
How does a small Business and IT consulting company give back to the community.
We have spent a lot of time thinking of smart ways of doing this. Being a MWSBE ourselves,
we have seen the challenges that startups face and we have committed ourselves
to giving back to community by aggressively supporting clients with what they need from us,
rather than just giving them what we can do for them.
People Of Passion
Shikha and Anjali are the Yin & Yang of everything 'Social Initiatives & Community Efforts' at Syntelli Solutions.
Shikha has a ownership role at Syntelli Solutions and is fully committed to supporting other
women owned and small business organizations become IT savvy and IT enabled. As a daughter of a renowned
Physics Professor, education is her first love. IT is her vocation and giving back to the
community is her passion. Using IT as an enabler
to help and create a network of Small Business. Shikha invited Anjali to work with her and lead
Syntelli's Community Outreach program.
How long does one have to wait to leverage the passion with which they went to school - well, it depends
and in Anjali's case, it took almost 18 years. Anjali, did her graduate studies in
Environment & Social
studies and paid her dues as a SAP ABAP and BW consultant.
Personal life events made Anjali re-prioritize her life and she spends her time
arranging fund-raisers and giving to Cancer Research.
Anjali got attracted to Syntelli's social and community efforts because she got a 'plain and large canvas'
to paint on. Anjali has brought tremendous energy to Syntelli's Social & Community initiatives and you
will have opportunity to meet with her in next event that we participate in or coordinate!

Events
First Focus Group held on May 29, 2008
We use the principles of business success to our Social Initiatives as well,
the principle of collaboration and leverage. With this objective, Syntelli Solutions
organized a symposium of MWSBE Coordinators from various state and local entities with
the objective of communicating to them about our community outreach initiatives.
Keynote speaker, Mr. Llew Fambles, Asst. Director IT for City of Raleigh, noted....
Our special thanks goes to Beverly Simmons for helping us
organize this event.
Volunteering and Giving
At Syntelli Solutions, volunteering our time for causes is a necessity
as well as a way of life.
Our consultants are free to choose the organization that they believe in
and we encourage them by supporting their voluntary hours and work.
